What are steel wire handles?
We consider whether we want square or round buckets and the size of the buckets we require. What colors, or what printing method for packaging? Is this bucket suitable for heavy load lifting and can I grip this handle comfortably? The handle plays an important role in producing and packaging buckets, and you should not ignore it.
Innopack® High tensile galvanized steel bucket handles are made of good quality carbon steel (c-steel). Carbon steel has many advantages. It is sensitive to temperature changes, lightweight, and easy to use. It improves with seasoning over time and is very durable. It is similar to seasoned carbon steel.
A reliable carbon steel is a finer micro-structure that assures industrial use in different weather conditions and work sites. Handles are typically made from conventional metals such as stainless steel, aluminum, copper, and nickel. These metals are chosen for their durability, flexibility, and ability to withstand heavy weights. Additionally, they are more affordable compared to specialized alloys made for wire forming. They are also more cost-effective than many specialized alloys designed for wire forming.
Benefits of bucket handles
- Long-lasting: Regardless of heat treatment, or exposure in a frozen cooler, galvanized carbon steel reduces weldability and has a higher melting point. (-30 ℉ to 250℉). in-line production by automation machine, accurately attached the handles on bucket ears and holding tight. Thanks to the sturdy microstructure of high-tensile carbon steel, it can hold up to 30 kg of contents.
- Transporting friendly:Galvanized steel wire bucket handles ensure stability and unbreakable condition. It is the most important consideration in transporting industrial contents. The wire is thin and sharp, so it can easily cut hands. However, the handle is designed to fit comfortably in your hand. This gives you a secure grip.
we provide affixed Innopack® plastic ergonomic and functional grip, a cylinder finger molded tube with a hole through the center of it. it ensures transportation by holding stable metal bucket handles smoothly and safely. A loose and moveable replaceable grip also can prevent heat transfer via the metal wire.
- Lower cost:Galvanized steel bucket handles are more cost-effective than any other metal material. By auto-motive in-line production, no labor works for attaching handles on the work desk. Super fast production and installation by machine saves customers time and less cost on labor which means you can get lower-priced
- Corrosion Resistance:regular steel materials such as iron or copper easily rust and break down by exposure to humidity and water. However, Innopack® Galvanized coated steel has a corrosion-proof layer. Industrial finishing can make sure steel wire is shiny and anti-rust and It helps customers lift or transport heavily loaded buckets safely. We designed an ergonomic plastic grip that also protects the steel wire and won’t attach to human sweat. This is another corrosion and wear-out protection.
What is the manufacturing process of bucket handles?
If you don’t know how wire handles are made, you will never realize a durable, tough, reliable industrial metal handle is not easy to accurately produce and affix to your container. Please continue to read, and you will understand what process of bucket handles manufacturing.
Making a handle for a bucket requires a few steps. First, draw the wire. Then, straighten it. Next, shape the wire and apply pressure. Form the handle by bending the wire. Test the handle to ensure it is secure. Finally, stack the handles for storage.
Completing such a complex process manually is extremely costly and time-consuming for workers. Let’s take a look at how the highly automated production line in the Innopack® can make a metal steel handle 30 pieces in 1 minute.
- Drawing: Drawing creates a wide variety of diameters without the need to have an inventory of wires with different diameters. Steel coil has a thicker diameter which is not good for making a steel wire handle directly. Wire drawing is working for changing diameter to small and customized size. this process of the rotating steel coil to loose and transport to the drawplate transforms into a 3.5mm diameter.
- Straightening: After the drawing process, then go for straightening for the next process of cutting different sizes and shapes and threading it into to grip. An automatic conveyor belt follows the bucket into the handle machine.
- Grip: plastic cylinder grip is arranged at the magazine, waiting for the signal to drop down and for steel wire thread in to grip, before affixed on the body of buckets
- Rotation disc: The positioning device comprises a rotating disc and a mounting hole sensor. The disc spins with a rotary drive, turning the barrel on top of it. A sensor above the disc detects the handle hole on the barrel.
- Its purpose is to detect whether the handle mounting hole has rotated into its designated position. The mounting device for the lifting handle is on the back of the positioning device. It includes a table that securely holds a barrel body.
- Claping and Mounting: On both sides of this platform, there are left and right clamp claws that can be independently or simultaneously actuated by an insertion drive mechanism. These clamp claws serve to secure and insert both ends of the handle into their respective lifting handle mounting holes. Furthermore, clamping devices are situated on either side of both the positioning device and handle mounting device, which is responsible for gripping and transferring barrel bodies from the rotating disc onto the mounting table.
- Applying Force:After mounting the lift to the applied forcing, the axial pressure of the 2 molds forming plate comes to together. Meanwhile, 2 end sides of wire were attached to ear holes on the bucket, and one 5-gal (20L) plastic bucket with a steel wire handle was accomplished.
- Testing & Palletizing:Keep delivery on the conveyor belt through 2 times turning upside down testing. The buckets are brought to the palletizing device, which is their final destination. The buckets with handles are stacked automatically to save space during storage and transfer.
